The Energy Council of South Africa, in partnership with Energy Exemplar, is launching a cloud-based Energy Data and Modelling platform for South Africa (EDMSA). EDMSA is a multi-stakeholder and Plexos-Cloud-based platform for data and modelling.

The objective of EDMSA is to support and strengthen national modelling capabilities, ensure modelling data is more accessible and affordable, and encourage transparency and collaboration on fact-based positions in the complex national energy dialogue. Further, it promotes stakeholder collaboration on modelling scenario and key assumption development.
